To
introduce myself, I would like to give you a short professional biography. In
May, 1977, I graduated from Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa with a B.S. in Chemistry.
After I graduated, I worked for General Motors at the Leeds Plant in Kansas City,
Missouri as an assembly line worker until I could find a position in my discipline
of study. This search didn't take long. In November of that year I went to work
as a research chemist for Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City, Missouri.
In August of 1980 I quit this position to begin to fulfill a life-long dream of
becoming a dentist. I enrolled in the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC)
Dental School and four years later, by the Grace of God and a loving, supportive
wife, I graduated. I have been practicing family dentistry since June of 1984
and truly enjoy the art of making beautiful smiles.
Throughout my dental career I have been involved in many outside activities at various levels of responsibility. These activities and responsibilities include:
